Atwood Oceanics would like to inform applicants about individuals who are fraudulently claiming to be recruiters for Atwood Oceanics, but are in no way affiliated with Atwood Oceanics or any of its subsidiaries. These scam artists advertise accounting or other jobs with Atwood Oceanics that do not exist. "Successful" candidates are instructed to wire a "training" or "recruitment" fee, to an overseas bank account.
If you have received any of these fraudulent offers or advertisements, or if you are unsure about an offer of employment, please forward them to Atwood Oceanics at recruiting@atwd.com. If you are in the U.S. and have received any of these recruitment emails or have otherwise been a victim of this scam, you can help Atwood Oceanics by filing a report of the incident on the FBI's Internet Fraud Complaint Center Web site at www.ic3.gov.
Please know that we have contacted appropriate authorities and are acting in other ways to stop these individuals from continuing their illegal activities that are deceiving and confusing applicants who earnestly seek employment at Atwood Oceanics.
